ISO 13485:2003 Certification Medical Implant/Instr

AceCo has been working with Orthopedic Surgeons and Professionals designing and manufacturing Implants and Instrumentation for several years.

AceCo recently became ISO 13485:2003 Certified with a goal in mind to expand our presence in the Orthopedic community by Engineering novel solutions, Manufacturing our products using cost-effective methods, and delivering uncompromising Quality.

AceCo will be rolling out a new website and marketing literature for our Medical Implant/Instrument Division in Q2'09.

ISO 13485:2003 Certification

As of February 2009, AceCo Precision Manufacturing has passed the audit to become ISO13485:2003 certified for the design and manufacture of medical devices.

Combined with the existing ISO9001:2000 certification and FDA Registration, AceCo is proceeding to enter the medical industry with its newly formed Medical Implant/Instrumentation Division.

AceCo’s proven machining and engineering excellence will ensure the highest quality product and the most competitive price.

ACECO PRECISION MANUFACTURING RECEIVES INTEL’S

PREFERRED QUALITY SUPPLIER AWARD

BOISE, Idaho, March 17, 2008 – AceCo Precision Manufacturing was named a recipient of Intel Corporation’s 2007 Preferred Quality Supplier (PQS) award for outstanding performance in providing products and services deemed essential to Intel’s success. The company is awarded for its efforts supplying Intel with fab spares and refurbishment. AceCo Precision Manufacturing and 34 additional PQS award winners will be honored at a celebration in Burlingame, California on March 18.

“AceCo is honored to receive the prestigious PQS award from Intel. This award clearly demonstrates our ongoing commitment to provide our clients with superior products and services. Intel’s demanding criteria for high performance through the SCQI program has allowed us to strive for excellence and continuous improvement throughout our organization,” said Bill Moynihan, AceCo president.

“AceCo has maintained a high level of cost, quality and technology performance over the last several years, as well as being responsive and flexible, making it easy to work with them,” said Shawn Klier, Global Fab Materials manager, Intel Corporation.

The PQS awards are part of Intel’s Supplier Continuous Quality Improvement (SCQI) process that encourages suppliers to strive for excellence and continuous improvement. To qualify for PQS status, suppliers must score 80 percent on a report card that assesses performance and ability to meet cost, quality, availability, delivery, technology and responsiveness goals. Suppliers must also manage and deliver on a challenging improvement plan and a quality systems assessment. Intel will also recognize PQS award winners with an advertisement in the U.S., Europe and Asia editions of The Wall Street Journal on March 18, 2008.
